The Droplet and the Sun

How a tiny droplet contains the reflection of the immense sun.

A droplet of water, no matter how small, when held against the sun, displays all the attributes and colors of the sun in its tiny mirror. Human nature is exactly like a droplet. In itself, it is nothingness and darkness. But when the sun of the knowledge of God strikes it, it becomes a brilliant mirror reflecting a manifestation of all the Divine Names. If this droplet turns its back to the sun, it is merely a dark drop of water; if it turns its face towards it, it becomes a sun itself. So turn your face to the sun and be illuminated.
